I confirm that I have dealt with Cinnamon Care since December 2010 (main contact being Mrs Minusha Wickramarachi) and still continue to use their services for my 90 year old mother who is confined to bed with dementia.
During this time they have provided my mother with a trained carer with whom we are quite happy with. Cinnamon Care has provided excellent support to my aged mother by way of regular home visits, talking to her, checking on her condition and updating themselves with her needs and care and making necessary changes accordingly. They make regular telephone contact with the carer and update her on extra care where it is needed such as how meals should be given, exercise where necessary as well as keeping the patient hygienically clean, including bed linen and clothing. They have also been helpful in organising medical emergency services.
Mrs Wickramarachi sometimes visits my mother with her young children, knowing that she is a retired teacher and loves interaction with children. This kind of personal touch I thought was very important for elderly people as it makes them feel loved.
I have found the services of Cinnamon Care to be very professional and I can confidently recommend them as a solid and reliable care service for people with Dementia.”

Of all the things you have managed to do with Cinnamon Care (and this comes from everyone who has visited Mom), what stands out is the open layout and design makes it looks very much a residence which invites people in as opposed to the usual institutional feel of most care organizations. It has an open, warm feel about it.
It is also encouraging to see that you are adopting a green approach, taking advantage of natural energy i.e. solar panels. Maybe I missed it on the site, but I think your location is a positive aspect as well; away from the hustle and bustle of the city, cleaner more invigorating country air but not so far away from Colombo that it makes visiting an issue. Also it is readily accessible from Colombo.
The care you and your staff have given Mom is evident in how she looks; more colour, put on a bit of weight and is smiling again.
Is that a crossword she is working on in one of the pictures? If so that is excellent, she used to love crosswords and jigsaw puzzles. That is a great picture of Mom with the two boys, nice to see them mingling and making Mom smile. Please thank them and tell them to keep up the good work.”
